This national non-profit organization provides a variety of programs for youth including judicial and foster residential programs, day treatment programs, family services, and alternative schools.
Managing Secondary Traumatic Stress from the Inside Out
I will be providing this training as part of the Fourth National Summit on Youth Violence Prevention in Washington DC. This summit brings together members of the National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention--a network of communities and federal agencies established by President Obama in 2010 that work together, share information and build local capacity to prevent and reduce youth violence. The training will be used to launch a series of trainings on secondary trauma for Forum members.
